Bringing your textiles back after fire or water damage
After a fire, a leak or a flood, textiles are often left full of odours, soot or damp. The sooner you act, the better the chance of saving them.
We take care of your clothes, household linen, curtains and delicate pieces. Each item is inspected, then treated according to its fabric and the damage done: deep cleaning, deodorising and antibacterial treatment, careful drying.
Before any work starts, you receive a detailed, item-by-item quote to pass on to your insurer. We are also on hand to answer the loss adjuster.

Fire and smoke
Soot and the smell of smoke work their way into the fibres. We clean each fabric in the way that suits it, to remove the marks and the odours.

Will my insurance cover the cleaning?
It depends on your policy: depending on your insurer, the cost of cleaning damaged textiles may be covered. We give you a detailed quote to pass on to your insurer or the loss adjuster.
Should I wash things before bringing them in?
No, please don't. Washing at home can set soot or odours into the fibres. Leave your textiles as they are and bring them to us as soon as you can. Wet textiles should not stay shut away: avoid leaving them for days in a closed bag.
Can the smell of smoke really be removed?
In most cases, yes, but it depends on the fabric and on how bad the damage is. We examine every piece and tell you honestly, before we quote, what you can expect.
How long does it take?
It depends on the volume and the treatments needed. We state it in the quote, before any work starts.
Can you collect the items?
You can drop off your textiles at our shops in Ixelles and Watermael-Boitsfort. For a large volume, get in touch and we will look at collection with you.
